Our Humble Beginnings
Craft Revolution was founded by Alison Fellows in 2012; starting off as a small shopping outlet in the Buttercross Market in the centre of Market Drayton.
The concept of Craft Revolution was sprung from an idea to Shop in just three weeks! Slowly growing by word of mouth more and more local crafters and creators wanted to join Alison her crafting adventure - to supply beautiful, bespoke products to the people of Shropshire.
One day on the off chance Alison went to support one of her fellow market whilst he was viewing a shop, 18 Shropshire Street. However the shop wasn't quite suited for him, this is when Ali realised that it was the perfect new home for Craft Revolution.
And that's where Craft Revolution has been housed ever since, grown from strength to strength, gaining and supporting crafters and customers with Alison for 3 more years. Until August 2016 when Alison's other business, Silver & Slate started taking off! - This is when she decided to hand over the reins to someone else and decided to let her creation go. -
Where we are now
As off August 2016 - the shop was taken over by Poppie Oldfield, who similarly is in love with the crafting world! Poppie expanded & gave the a bit of a restyle to allow even more wonderful Arts & Crafts in. On August 5th the shop had a grand re-opening and the Revolution continues to this day.
